A little fun on a hot day!

It's been so hot here the past couple of days and so we decided to have a little fun! 

this note was waiting on our front door -- for when bubba got home!

we didn't leave him empty-handed

and let me tell you -- this man was ready for action. 

you'd think he was trained for it or something ;)

at the end we were all drenched from head to toe and had so much water in our eyeballs we could hardly see. 

we had such a blast and rowan was squealing with excitement and laughter the whole time. 

Summer time!

this girl seriously cracks me up! 

she has so many dance moves and crazy looks that i'm always laughing at something. 

these pictures were taken about 10 seconds apart. 

crazy to sweet. just like that. 

totally passed out after a day with friends in the water and sun. 

about a minute before this she was sitting there laughing and smiling. 

then BAM! out like a light. 

i find that rowan is always being a little artist. 

everyday. it's something. 

this day -- it was making her snack. 

End of the Year Cupcakes!

Rowan had an end of the year picnic for her school !

and of course I signed us up for the dessert -- because i love cupcakes!

these were delicious and i actually made these for rowan's birthday party also. 

chocolate cake filled with salted caramel sauce. 

buttercream frosting drizzled with salted caramel with chocolate shavings

and these ones were gone in about 2 mins:

chocolate cake

mint chocolate frosting

chocolate sprinkles

and a sprig of peppermint

A big week!

it's been busy around here with having rowan home all day, every day. 

so much catching up to do on the blog!!

so here goes... an onslaught of posts to come! :)

this was a big week for rowan!

we chopped off her hair for the summer! 

rowan goes back and forth between what she wants her hair length at. 

either rapunzel or snow white... it's a tough decision!

i was happy to see that snow white was back in style... 

much easier to maintain.. and i think it's super cute!

 

and then on the 13th of june.. she lost her first tooth!

what a brave girl i tell ya!

she didn't cry or even wince at the blood. thankfully there really wasn't that much blood. 

and she pulled the thing out all by herself. 

everyday my little girl keeps showing me how she is growing up!! :( ... not sure i'm ready for it.
